....However. Education , experience, and qualification are an important part of our value system when it comes to your mental health care. Meet practice owner Lisa Stininger. Lisa has been in the field of mental health and substance use since she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. Lisa then worked for 5 years in various roles, including Drug and Alcohol therapy, case management, crisis response, and criminal justice, before returning to Pitt for a double Master's in Social Work and Mental Health, which she completed in 2021. Lisa presently holds an active License in Clinical Social Work in Pennsylvania, and is a Certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor, as well as a Clinical Trauma Professional. Lisa prides herself on a person-centered approach to building the therapeutic relationship and putting you first at all times! Lisa is also a person in long-term recovery, a published researcher, podcaster, and weightlifter! (And of course, the tattoos, right?)

This is therapy without judgment, without pretense — just genuine connection and the courage to heal.
